here are photos taken on 7/13/08.

the newly constructed intersection where hwy 140 & 120 meet in the valley looks really nice.

nice retaining wall, and border wall.






as you can see with the last photo, some of the road (further in) is still under construction, but at least i didn't experience any delays.

North and Southside Drive Rehabilitation

Southside Drive between Wawona Road and El Capitan Crossover: Grading and curb installation will continue this week. The eastern 1-mile of this segment is scheduled to for the 1st lift paving July 20th to July 23rd. Pulverizing and grading the western 1-mile segment will begin July 23rd or 24th depending upon paving progress. Night time detours and daytime work with one lane open to traffic.

Northside Drive between El Capitan Picnic Area and Hanging Valle: Continued headwall work and cleaning of the existing drainage channels.

Southside Drive between El Capitan Crossover and Housekeeping: Upon completion of paving west of El Capitan Crossover the Contractor plans to begin pulverizing and curb installation east of El Capitan Crossover (Tentatively scheduled to begin mid August with night time detours and after Labor Day with full closure.)
