Glacier Point television repeaters will be temporarily out of service on Friday, 8 August 08 between 10:00AM and 2:00PM (appr) while upgrades are installed. When completed, non-satellite television viewers will receive ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and Fox network signal from Fresno. The upgrade will also address the FCC February 2009 analog deadline.

Non-satellite viewers will not need to purchase additional equipment to receive television signal after the 2009 analog cut off.

kinda off subject, but i noticed last time i was in the valley, my cell phone reception was soooo much better than ever before (i have ATT). not sure why, but glad.

On the other hand Verizon seems to have gone away. Sigh.
