I think they're running Windoze and need to be re-booted again.

I thought all that stuff died off when macs started using Intel chips and running Microsoft software. Guess not.

Perhaps they're running OS9 and actually tried to do something with the computer, like move the mouse or click on something...(spoken with much frustrating classroom lab experience on such machines).

(Sent from a rock-solid XP machine, one of many that runs great and never gives us any problem)
