If this activist gets his way, there will be a Mount Reagan in Nevada, possibly as soon as next year. But it hasn't been easy.

I thought Conservatives stopped their worship of Reagan a long time ago?

He already has a mountain named after him. It's an aircraft carrier.

I think it was about 8 or 10 years ago that the Onion (I think it was) ran a picture of how the "back side" of Mt. Rushmore (if there's any such spot) could be sculpted with likenesses of the country's worst presidents. I think most of the likenesses were made up and only looked like they could have been past presidents, but I did recognize the then-incumbent among them.

I wouldn't have a problem having a mountain in California, preferably in Santa Barbara County near his former ranch, being named after Reagan. But having a mountain in Nevada named after him is plain stupid.

There definitely needs to be a Mount Chick-on somewhere.
