Park personnel have completed the February 1 snow surveys. Depths ranged from 29 inches at Peregoy Meadow to 65 inches at Rafferty Meadow. Water content for the Tuolumne drainage is 73% of average, and 67 % of average for the Merced drainage.

That is actually a lot higher than I thought it was. Around Reno/Truckee/Donner you would have difficulty finding anything much deeper than two feet.

The amount of rocks/dirt showing thru each weekend and Donner Ski Ranch had me thinking that we were at about 10%
