Unique Photo Ops In Yosemite
October 01, 2005 03:05PM
Hi,

I am planning a trip to Yosemite in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on areas in the Park to get *unique* (not often seen) landscape/nature photos? I am willing to hike to get there.

Thank you!

There is a canyon on the north side of Mt. Dana called Glacier Canyon. There are some beautiful spots there and it's definately not a place many people even know about.

Thank you very much for the information and the link to the map. That whole area is definitely scenic, although I have never been back in Glacier Canyon. Do you know what trail to take?

There is no official trail. You just walk around the lake and follow the use trail up to the canyon. It's easy to spot.

P.S. Sorry to take so long to respond. I've been in Yellowstone all week and just got home.
