As a fan of our national parks, I've noted that the seems to be a lot of controversy over the National Park Service response to recent protests. Especially of the United States Park Police.
I guess most recently the only statue memorializing a Confederate figure in DC was toppled. I'll just say someone in a position of power is railing on the DC Mayor for allowing it to happen, but my understanding is that it's a statue on NPS land, supposedly maintained by NPS, and theoretically policed by the USPP.
