Here's a photo from last Feb. I haven't posted yet. Upper Pines Feb. 21. Note the purchased dry wood and lighter fluid, not to mention the shovel to clear the spot.

I can remember those two nights so clearly. Air was perfect (but cloudy days ruined the Firefall)

And the crash bang of ice and rock from Glacier and Grizzly all around Upper Pines

Something about staring into a flame that gets to me. I had my headlamp on because I had just got done setting up my tent down yonder.
