Nordic Trail Conditions: Call Badger Pass Ranger Station for current conditions. Phone: (209) 372-0409

Avalanche Conditions: Although no avalanche forecasting is conducted within Yosemite National Park, the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center posts avalanche advisories for the High Sierra. Go to http://www.esavalanche.org for the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center and click on advisory. The ESAC site is updated several times a week and more often during weather events.

Activities: Ranger guided snowshoe walks are offered daily at 10:30 a.m. Meet in front of the A-Frame. Snowshoes are provided; a $5 donation is requested for wear and tear on the snowshoes. The walk is generally two hours long and is moderately strenuous (travel approximately two miles). NO reservations required.

Questions: For weather or Nordic ski-related questions, you may call the Badger Pass Ranger Station from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 209-372-0409.
