...MORE SNOWY WEATHER POSSIBLY HEADED FOR THE SOUTHERN SIERRA
AND TEHACHAPI MOUNTAINS EARLY NEXT WEEK...

SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA.
SNOW LEVELS WILL BE BETWEEN 6500 AND 7000 FEET. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL
ONLY BE 1 TO 3 INCHES AND MAINLY CONFINED TO THE CREST OVER
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK WITH LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION EXPECTED
ACROSS KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK.

A STRONGER STORM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY MONDAY NIGHT AND SPREAD
MOISTURE OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA AND THE TEHACHAPIS THROUGH
TUESDAY NIGHT. THERE IS UNCERTAINTY WITH THE EXACT TRACK AND
TIMING OF THIS STORM AND SUBSEQUENTLY HOW MUCH SNOW THE AREA
RECEIVES. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO DROP TO AROUND 5500 TO 6000
FEET ON MONDAY NIGHT WITH MORE SIGNIFICANT SNOW AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
