Mariposa Grove Road will open Friday, May 21 with no weight limits.

Mariposa Grove will open to the public on Friday May 21, 2010 with no restrictions on vehicle weight . The upper road in Mariposa Grove still needs to be plowed so trams will not have access to roadway. Once the widening of Glacier Point road and hazard tree removal is completed road crews will move down to Mariposa Grove and plow upper road for tram access.

*sigh* I missed it by 2 days. Just got home this morning after a wonderful week in YNP.
