Reds Meadow Road to Close Today

Reds Meadow Road will officially be closed for the season today, Friday, October 29th at 4 p.m due to an incoming snowstorm. Snow removal does not occur after October 15th each year. Reds Meadow Road normally closes on October 31st if no snow or ice events have occurred. All campgrounds and restrooms are closed for the season. All Visitors should be out of the Valley by 4:00 p.m. as the gate at Minaret Vista will be locked at that time.
For more information, please contact the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center at (760) 924-5500 (press 0), or stop by the welcome center on Hwy 203 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
