Glacier Point Water Well

Construction for the Glacier Point Water Well will begin November 3 with well completion expected by November 12. Beginning next season (after well testing), trenching alongside the existing road and along existing utility alignments will take place to connect the new water well to the existing utility system. The well is being constructed to replace the surface water sources currently used for the Glacier Point drinking water system.

Does that mean that the pump works near Union Point will be torn down?
