Perhaps nothing too new, but we did sight quite a few people going up to Half Dome yesterday. By early afternoon the wind kicked up and the dark grey clouds started to come in. It was then while we ate a quick lunch we noticed some fools (6 or more?) going up on the downed cable on Half Dome... <sigh> Sadly, people just don't think or realize how quickly things can change up there sometimes- especially this time of the year. Hope all went well with them.
