A winter storm warning remains in effect until 4 am pst sunday
For the southern sierra nevada from yosemite to kings canyon.

* snow accumulations: 12 to 24 inches are possible above 7000
Feet. 10 to 16 inches are possible above 5000 feet.

* timing: snow will begin over yosemite national park this morning
And spread southward across the southern sierra nevada through
Tonight.

* locations include: shaver lake...Yosemite valley.

* impacts: heavy snow may cause travel delays or road closures.
Blowing and drifting snow with local whiteout conditions are
Possible above 7000 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow and ice
Are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This
Will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
