Ouch! Where is this, exactly? EDIT: oh, wait, Wilma Cabin according to another one of your posts. and the elevation is...?
I'm heading to Merced Lake etc. next week...but that's a different kettle of frozen fish.

A friend who hiked towards Half Dome last weekend reports probe results of 6-8' on the last mile to subdome. 0-4' on subdome leading up to the cables.
