High Sierra types find it more convenient to store their snowthrowers on the second floor.

It was actually being used before eeek took this picture...at least, I saw it in use around 10 AM or so. I can't say much progress was made between the time I saw it and the time this picture was taken.

So where is the snow that they removed? Is there a huge pile some where out of frame?

I didn't notice. But it was snowing at the time and visibility wasn't great.

Assuming the snow is melted by my trip in August, I was interested in staying at Tioga Pass Resort. Their web site says they have no phone and accept reservations only by email.

I have emailed twice with no response. I was kind of thinking that perhaps reservations are made well in advance and I have no shot-perhaps explaining the no response.

Anyone here know more? Alternative way to contact?

Murpheys is the other option but being closer and elevation would help and rates are not that much different.
