Anyone know without a doubt that you can simply park your car at the
"Dana Trailhead" (a smidgen east of the Kiosk) after Oct. 15?
Since I'm from the west... I'm not familiar with the procedure or whatnut over there.
I know there's a gate way down below... but not sure about higher.
Of course I can just call... if need be.

Good question. IIRC, if the road is open, parking is allowed, but best to be sure to check w/a ranger so I don't look stoopid.

Is there a sign on the other side like this?

I guess I will give the wilderness center a call and post the answer here.
(basilbop has me obsessing over Kuna Crest to Koip Peak and back via Parker Pass)

In case anyone wondering.... the answer was yes and yes.
Yes to there being a sign on the other side... right at the Gaylor Lakes TH.
And yes to parking on the east side of the kiosk overnight.

Of course you can't be a complete bozo about it.... unless you
don't care if your car is destroyed when they plow it out 4 months later.
