Park Rangers recently completed the February 1 snow surveys. The water content in the Merced drainage is 29% of average while the Tuolumne drainage is 32% of average.

Wow! I'm actually surprised there's that MUCH water there. I was expecting it to be far less, in the 10-15% range. Still, quite a shortfall.

Let's pray for more snow between now and June.
