James Durbin, the hard rocker from American Idol season 10, took his wife and honeymooned in Yosemite.

James Durbin appeared on last weeks American Idol to perform his new rock single "Higher Than Heaven". He told a reporter he recently honeymooned in Yosemite, seeing the sites and telling people they should stay several days to see the whole grandour of the Park;

See the whole grandeur of the Park in "several days?!?!?!" Unless "several days" means something on the order of "a few thousand or so," I think Mr. Former Idol has a lighter appetite for grandeur than I do!

Rolled my eyes... and then read the article. And was reminded I need to keep the glass half full.

It's a pretty decent article and he really does a decent job of conveying what he felt.

I kinda see it as a positive. Durbin is a 23 year old and I think it might draw more interest towards Yosemite from a demographic who might not think about Yosemite. He also gives out some good advice for 1st time visitors to Yosemite.

This is just the record companies way to get his name out there so you can buy his album.
Any publicity is good publicity. He did this last year... and it's news now because his album is out.
