Waking up to the open jaws of a mountain lion in Sierra

I've always been more worried about mountain lions than bears.

At least it was down in the foothills.

You're really worried about something that has happened 15 times since 1890? In a 122 year span that averages to once every 8 years. I'll take those odds any time.

I've always been more worried about humans than animals.

It may be watching but look into it's eyes. It's trying to figure out of you are lunch or not.
