Showers at TM

Are there showers for campers at TM? If not, can we use a camp shower?

You can usually purchase showers at the nearby Tuolumne Meadows Lodge during certain mid-afternoon (?) hours. However, since it's such a dry year, they may not be selling showers to non-guests this year. I see no reason why you couldn't use a camp shower.

"Catch basins are needed for sun showers." (from the 2008 map given by the rangers at the TM campground entrance kiosk ... some of the info is outdated, but this is what is written on the Campground Rules & Regulations list.)

They did not allow non guests last year either. I was told they no longer allow non guests at all. They told me to to to Mono Vista RV park in Lee Vining.
