The blasts at Mirror Lake that were scheduled for 8/15/12 have been rescheduled for Wednesday 8/22/12. The area around the blast site will be closed from 6:30 AM until 4:00 PM. This part of the trail is currently closed to entry due to trail reconstruction and rockfall hazard. They will slightly expand the closure to 1,000 feet from the rock fall area for the day of blasting operations. The area of the trail on the North side of Mirror Lake directly across from the blast will be closed briefly during the initiation of the two blasts at approximately 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
