Some of the aspens at Glacier Lodge were turning last week. Also noticed a few in the June area and Lee Vining Canyon.

I think that you will see a few areas start to turn about this time of year. Without a big freeze in the forecast and mild temps, hopefully when we get a bit into the fall season the colors will last a while longer this year. Looking forward to my traditional 1st week of October photo tour on the east side. drinking smiley

I'd say about 1/3 of the aspens between Conway Summit and Virginia Lakes were beginning to show hints of color. I'm hoping we'll have a longer fall color season this year.
