I would guess that a dozen or more climb the cables with them laying down each month that there is no snow.

I was up on North Dome last Saturday (10/27) and saw three people up on half dome. Confirmed with binoculars. It had snowed three days prior.There was quite a bit of visable snow on half dome at the time.
I was surprised even though I have heard that people climb up when the cables are down.

Plenty of climbing routes on HD. Could easily be someone that just topped out. Just a thought
