We got to the park about 2100 hours, entering at the Wawona entrance, and there was black ice EVERYWHERE. Immediately put the Jeep into high 4wd and had the slowest drive of my life to the valley, but we arrived safely. Hoped it would snow that night, and we were not disappointed, as it snowed overnight and intermittently throughout the day.
Started off at Valley View, I found it 'meh' and moved on to the Chapel area and throughout the Valley all day.
The first of several more to come.
