Re: Ski season is upon us...

In the Sierra, Boreal and Mammoth have already opened for the season and Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Squaw, Heavenly and Kirkwood will be open by this weekend.

No word yet when Badger Pass will open for the season.

I regard the opening of my personal ski season as the time when stuff that doesn't see snow making is open, since that's what I ski. At least it looks better so far than last year, though that's probably as good as praising the fact that we don't have an Ebola outbreak.
