Ice Cut Reopened

Following the warm rain Yosemite experienced last weekend, the ice cut, a section of the John Muir Trail below Nevada Falls has reopened. The Mist Trail and John Muir trail are currently open, however hikers are encourage to travel with care. Precipitation has increased the water flow in the rivers and creeks which coupled with cooler evenings, can create potentially slippery conditions.
