Been a few years since we've had a good Pineapple Express event. Here in the SF Bay Area when the high winds peak as the front bears down, it always brings with it an interesting distinctive odor in the air.

Snow levels are forecast to jump way up from 7000 earlier to 10,000 feet during part of Saturday night that will also cause some melting of snow on the ground adding to flows. By Sunday afternoon lingering snow levels will supposedly drop down to 6000.
