As was posted last week, the snow is melting fast from the Glacier Point Road. In addition to an "expanded" version of the "climb from Bridalveil" bare spot...here's the road at Clark Range View:



This was Saturday, it looked worse Sunday.

North-facing slopes are, of course, still holding snow. Here's the trail up Sentinel Dome:



And regardless of the poor snow year, the views are still nice.

wow, now that is super cool. thanks for sharing these pictures! glacier point road and this whole area is one of my my favorite places in the park. Last year the conservation corps worked with the park service to remodel parts of the trails for the sentinal dome/taft point area

Hard to tell, but that could be. The sky conditions look right for my afternoon walk there (I camped just behind the trail junction leading to the summit), and I do remember standing on that rock.

Starr King is beautiful. So is Clark. So is everything else. Wish I could teleport there really quick.
