The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on State Route 120 (SR-120) from Big Oak Sidehill Viaduct/near Buck Meadows to the end of the viaduct/before Forest Road for bridge work. This long-term one-way traffic control is scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 7:00 a.m., through Friday, September 20, 2013. Motorists should expect 5 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. Construction is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues. This work is part of the $3.4 million SR-120 Tuolumne Bridge Deck Replacement Project which began on March 11, 2013. The project will replace the bridge decks on the Tuolumne River Bridge and strengthen the existing structure. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2014.
