From the Facebook page:

"This morning started off sunny, but we got quite the thunderstorm with hail this afternoon. (The Yosemite Village weather station recorded nearly two inches of rain in a half hour.) A good reminder: always be prepared for rapidly changing weather in the Sierra--during any time of the year."

The Los Angeles area is getting thunder and lightning too. Great for those with brontophilia.

Wow. Did they get snow up on Tioga Road?

I hope not. I have to drive out to Tioga Pass in the morning. From what I hear there is no snow on the road - or near it. Hopefully this storm won't bring any in. People will be beyond pissed off if they don't open the road on Saturday as planned.

But, you know, Mother Nature just loves to show us humans who is the boss.
