On June 1st and 2nd, the SAR office will be hosting its annual SAR days training in the East Auditorium. The June 2nd training will incorporate a mock search scenario operating east of the Ahwahnee Meadow to the Mirror Lake area. During that time there will be up to 40 searchers and 6 canine search teams spread out in those areas and behind the Pines campground loops as part of the drill. They will all be dressed in the YOSAR yellow uniform shirt and should be easily identifiable as drill participants. Although searchers may occasionally interact with the public while looking for their subject, they will be instructed to let them know this is a training exercise.
