I was at Tenaya Lake on Sunday. So were the mosquitos, lots of them. But the Picaridin insect repellent did its job and I suffered no bites.

But the bugs weren't the only thing I had to deal with. Soon after I arrived at the lake, I started getting pelted by marble-sized hail. Some of the direct hits gave a nice sting like being smacked by a paint ball. But after the brief (about four minutes) yet intense hail storm resided, I was rewarded with some nice light and ensuing shots:

No bites, huh? Impressive because the swarms at T-Lake can be vicious as hell.

Any shots of the cascade coming down from Lower Cath? And those huge rocks - those native tribes must have had mystical powers, moving those things around like that. winking smiley
