Conditions: No snow all the way to campsite, where I had a small patch of shade-protected snow next to my tent. Basically, snow is not an issue. Mosquitoes are a very definite issue, not so much at Tuolumne (they were present but not so bad) but definitely above. Sadly, the shade-protected snow on the south side of Townsley was melting pretty quickly into the lake, making it too cold for swimming.
