Pohono Trail Tips - West to East

I'm planning on hiking the Pohono Trail in mid Sept. I'd like to go Tunnel View --> Glacier Point --> 4 Mile to the valley floor.

Does anyone who has done this hike (west to east) have any tips? I understand most people go east to west.

Effort is not much different but I think the views are better east to west. Check on water availability a few days before you go. It could be really dry.
