Pile burning to resume in Foresta

Vegetation debris pile burning will begin this week in the Foresta area if enough moisture falls this week during the predicted weather system. The burn project will include the vegetation cut and piled last summer near 2nd Street Crane Creek and west to the McCauley Ranch area.

The ignition of vegetation piles within Foresta has been postponed due to predicted high velocity Mono Winds. Fire management will advise later on a new date.
