From yosemite to kings canyon.

...Showers and thunderstorms and high elevation snow...

.Day one...Today and tonight

* snow accumulations: light dusting up to 2 inches.

* elevation: 9000 feet and above.

* winds: south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph in the high
Country.

* temperature: falling below freezing tonight above 8000 feet.

* timing: this afternoon.

* locations include: yosemite national park...Kings canyon
National park...Sequoia national forest

* impacts: rapidly changing weather conditions...Freezing
Temperatures above 8000 feet...Thunderstorms with hail and
Lightning...Light snow above 9000 feet.
