Rain and Snow throughout Sierra predicted for today through this evening. The Tioga Road and Glacier Point Roads in Yosemite National Park are temporarily closed due to snow and icy conditions. A storm system in the area necessitated the temporary closure. The park is currently receiving snow at the higher elevations

Both roads will remain closed throughout today and will open when conditions permit safe travel. There is no estimated time for the roads to reopen.

SR 120
IS CLOSED FROM CRANE FLAT TO 5 MI WEST OF THE JCT OF US 395 /TIOGA PASS/
(TUOLUMNE, MONO CO) - DUE TO SNOW - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN
ALTERNATE ROUTE
Closed on day(s) most people need it most. Makes it tougher to make those weekend escapes!

They might as well wait until the weather is more stable instead of opening/closing repeatedly.
