Passed away Nov 9 of kidney failure. Read the news in today's Palo Alto Daily Post. As many of us know, there's a granite dome named after her. I think it's Dome 8906 on the maps, slightly NW of Daff. About one mile (?) north of Tioga Road, it's a relatively pleasant cross-country hike. Some rock climbers choose to train there, on humorously-named routes. I'll find a pic or two from my personal collection later and post. I recall a photo that documented when a certain pink creature climbed onto the, ahem, nipple. Would be nice if others have photos to share too. Let's honor the life of this revolutionary lady.
