...Winter weather advisory remains in effect from 4 pm this
Afternoon to 4 pm pst wednesday...

* hazard types...Accumulating snow along with gusty winds and
Cold temperatures.

* snow accumulations...5 to 11 inches. Greatest accumulation in
Yosemite park with lesser amounts in kings canyon.

* timing...Snow beginning by late afternoon in yosemite park
Spreading south to kings canyon by early this evening.

* impacts...Accumulating snow will cause traffic hazards. Gusty
Winds will combine with cold temperatures to create low wind
Chill values.

* winds...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
Especially over ridges and higher terrain.

* temperatures...30-35 at 4000 feet...20-25 above 8000 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
Will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
Covered roads and limited visibilities...And use caution while
Driving.
