Upper Pines Campground, Camp 4, Half Dome Village, and Huff housing are closed until noon tomorrow (Monday) due to winds and snow increasing the risk of falling trees. The Wellness Center and Valley Visitor Center Auditorium are available for anyone who needs a place to stay tonight.

Yes, a 21-year-old woman was killed when a tree fell on her canvas tent cabin in Curry Village Sunday morning around 11:00 AM.

Oh, man, that's tough.

As many times as I've stayed there since I was something like 2, I've never thought about that.
