Soooo very many wonderful trips over the past few years! So much fun. So much laughter and joy on the trail!

You have become a dear friend and I value the time you spend with Basilbop and me out there in the mountains we all love!

Thank you so much for all the encouragement, tips, tricks, jokes, pranks, TV Time, games, food, you-name-it!

It's been a blast and I look forward to many more years of exploring with you.

I hope you have a fabulous birthday trip (am very sorry I'll be missing it this year) but am looking forward to the birthday-observed trip as well as all future trips!

Have you tried something like that with the Mineral King Marmots?

yj, uh... uh... I've been over Black Rock Pass (yes, that's the west side of the pass in the picture... )
but... uh.. uh... I have never been to Mineral King!

Will definitely remedy that this year!

Haven't dealt with Marmuts like that... I only saw that sorta thang at Isberg TH..
... been there a few times.. and never did any pro for them... never had any issues.
Not sure how much of a problem they really are there...
SEKI has a whole thang-a-dang on Mineral King Marmuts tho...

Anywho... yeah, it's gorgeous in that area!

Am really looking forward to hitting all the trails in and around Mineral King !
