No access to the pre-planning documents (that they've being developing this past year) ???

I would like to see the specifics of the alternatives they are considering before commenting.

I contacted the planning department and these are the only documents available at this time.

https://www.nps.gov/yose/getinvolved/upload/scopingpostermap.pdf
https://www.nps.gov/yose/getinvolved/upload/purposeneedposter.pdf

This is the first step in the planning process and right now they are only looking for the public's ideas and suggestions on what should be done in this area. I sent in what I feel should be or not be done in the Bridalveil Fall area and some suggestions on what improvements could be made. One thing that I didn't ask about and I could not find is that at the bottom of the website for the plan, there is a statement that "the project will implement actions described in the Merced Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision (Merced River Plan) (NPS 2014) for the Bridalveil Fall area " and I still have my hard copy of that and I skimmed through it and could not find anything too specific about the Bridelveil Fall area but just general information.

I view this as the time where I can tell them my vision and they can use my information along with other people's to come up with alternatives. I have participated in other Yosemite plans during these kind of initial phase of the planning.

I've already read the above documents.

What I'm looking for is information on what they did for a year prior during the "pre-design" phase of this planning process (as referenced in the timeline shown on this poster: https://www.nps.gov/yose/getinvolved/upload/purposeneedposter.pdf ). They have already spent a year on this and only have these few pages of documents to show for it? And I also looked at the MRP and didn't see any specifics about Bridalveil Fall. Nor I haven't found any record (let alone video) of what was discussed during the one public scooping meeting held on May 10th.

I find all of this a bit puzzling.

I, myself, keep looking for a record of the meeting and can't find anything. And, like I said, I looked at the MRP and there was only a vague mention of Bridaleveil Falls area. I was told that they would add more documents but the time is almost up for commenting so I decided to send in my comment last night. Due to some commitments, I just don't have time right now to contact them again and ask what is going on. Maybe you could try contacting them about the information you want.
