Road crews continue to work on getting the Tioga Road open. The Olmsted Point avalanche zone is still active. There is no estimated opening date. The Tioga Road is closed to vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians from South Fork Bridge (6.5 miles east of Tuolumne Grove/NatureBridge in the Crane Flat area) to Tioga Pass.

Hope to have better luck with Caltrans news on the east side opening...than I did with Sonora Pass

Safety first. Of course, they would love for the road to be open by July 4.

Not confusing. Remember that there are two 'types' of crews working the roads, Caltrans(outside the park) and NPS(inside the park).

Found a clarification on the Mono County Tourism Facebook. 120 will be opened from 395 to the Yosemite gate (near the east entrance station?) Monday 2pm. From there to 6 miles east of Crane Flat will still be closed. Apparently "west 120" starts at 395 and goes west and "east 120" goes east from 395 towards Benton.

It's not opening all of the way through...just to the park boundary.
