AFTERNOON TO 4 PM PST WEDNESDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2
feet with higher amounts of up to 3 feet. Snow levels start at
5,000 feet and rise to above 7,000 feet by Wednesday
Afternoon. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE...Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon.
* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
