TUESDAY FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RH...
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 5 PM Monday to 5 AM PDT Tuesday.
* TIMING...Monday evening into Tuesday morning.
* WIND...Downslope winds of 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH
* HUMIDITY...20 to 30 percent, dropping to 15 percent with the
strongest winds.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Erratic behavior and extensive spotting with ongoing fires. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
