FIRE WEATHER ZONES 460, 461, 462, 102, and 226...

* AFFECTED AREA...In Arizona...Fire weather zone 102. In
Nevada...Fire weather zones 460, 461, and 462. In
California...Fire weather zone 226.

* TIMING...Late Saturday morning into Saturday evening.

* WIND...South to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph gusting 35 to 45
mph. Winds in zone 226 are expected to be westerly 35 to 45 mph
with gusts over 50 mph.

* HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR
SOUTHERN MONO COUNTY BELOW 7000 FEET...

* Changes...None.

* Affected Area...Fire Zone 274 Southern Mono County BELOW 7000
FEET.

* Winds...South to southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45
mph.

* Humidity...Minimum values of 10 to 20 percent.

* Duration...4 to 8 hours.

* Impacts...Recent abnormally warm weather with the combination
of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow
in size and intensity before first responders can contain them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid outdoor activities that can cause a spark near dry
vegetation, such as yard work, target shooting, or campfires.

Ha, and we went fishing on Crowley Lake. Worked out for us.

And the power did not get shut off...this time.
