A few have asked how I am faring. I've lost nothing except altered a trip, and cancelled the ones that were supposed to start today and tomorrow.
We thought we had escaped the brunt of the smoke after Castle Fire ...
but nope...
Ran into the same thing for Castle...
I won't bore you with more pictures.
Glad we had N95 masks to sleep in and hike in (we learned from The Rim Fire)
(though this year is currently like 20 Rim Fires)
We are sad that the areas we hiked in earlier this year are now being ravaged by
Caste Fire. 100,000 and growing.
