I love going to Yosemite, but I also very much enjoy the drive from Northbay, once we pass 99 (east of 99). Whether it's 4, 120, 140 driving through Farmington, Knights Ferry or Hornitos.
Going through Escalon I wondered about the majestic sycamores that line 120/Jackson Ave and wrote their historical society asking about their history. They responded with this recently digitized photo. Thought I'd share it here. They didn't know the date but suggested I look into the year of the car. I have sent the photo to a friend who is a car enthusiast. Let's see what he estimates the year.
